This Acceptable Use Policy (this “AUP”) applies to use of the Teleport platform, including the website, the app, APIs, the MCP server, Spot It, mobile interfaces, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). This AUP forms part of the Teleport Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.

1. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Platform, or allow anyone else to use the Platform through your Account, to:

  1. Violate any law, regulation, third-party right, Teleport policy, or the rights, safety, privacy, property, or security of any person.
  2. Post, request, accept, arrange, facilitate, or perform any Task that is illegal, unsafe, deceptive, exploitative, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate.
  3. Post or perform Tasks involving controlled substances, illegal goods or services, stolen or counterfeit items, money laundering, suspicious gift-card or money-order activity, unauthorized cross-border travel, peer-to-peer transportation, or any activity Teleport determines is unsafe or unlawful.
  4. Create scam tasks, fake profiles, fake reviews, fake completion evidence, misleading Task descriptions, or other false or deceptive content.
  5. Submit evidence that is fabricated, edited, staged, reused from another Task or time, or taken somewhere other than where the Task says, or otherwise misrepresent where, when, how, or by whom work was done, in order to obtain acceptance, payment, or a Proof of Physical Work.
  6. Tamper with, forge, or misrepresent a Proof of Physical Work, its verification result, its assurance level, or the evidence behind it, or present a proof as a certification, inspection, warranty, or insurance.
  7. Misrepresent or conceal your identity, age, legal name, business name, location, geography, availability, skills, credentials, qualifications, payment eligibility, or ability to perform or pay for a Task.
  8. Use fake phone numbers, disposable contact information, false identities, multiple or dummy Accounts, proxy servers, IP spoofing, VPNs, TOR, deepfakes, synthetic media, or similar methods to deceive others, evade restrictions, or obtain access to geography-targeted or higher-rate Tasks.
  9. Create or use replacement Accounts to evade suspension, termination, verification, limits, or other Platform restrictions.
  10. Solicit, request, make, accept, arrange, or encourage payment or other compensation outside the Platform or outside Platform-supported payment methods.
  11. Use the Platform as a job board, lead-generation tool, referral funnel, or gateway to move users, work opportunities, communications, applications, or payments off the Platform.
  12. Bully, defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, exploit, discriminate against, or otherwise harm any user, Teleport personnel, or other person.
  13. Post or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, hateful, discriminatory, terrorist, exploitative, or harmful to minors.
  14. Infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, proprietary, or other rights.
  15. Upload, distribute, or transmit viruses, malware, malicious code, corrupted files, scripts, or other harmful materials.
  16. Hack, attack, probe, scan, disrupt, impair, disable, overload, or compromise the Platform or any related system, network, account, payment system, or security measure.
  17. Circumvent, disable, interfere with, or avoid any access control, rate limit, paywall, usage quota, API restriction, MCP server restriction, verification process, payment requirement, or other Platform limitation.
  18. Scrape, data-mine, crawl, spider, harvest, collect, index, frame, copy, download, sell, license, or otherwise extract Platform content, User Content, task postings, personal information, or Platform data except as expressly permitted by Teleport.
  19. Use bots, scripts, AI agents, automated systems, or other automated means in a way that exceeds reasonable human use, evades technical controls, spams users, creates fake content, impersonates others, or otherwise abuses the Platform.
  20. Let an AI agent, robot, device, or other automated requester post Tasks, spend, or act beyond the limits its owner or operator set, or without a person or organization that is accountable for it on the Platform.
  21. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, translate, adapt, alter, sublicense, resell, or create derivative works from the Platform or any Teleport software, systems, code, data, or non-public information.
  22. Spam a Task (e.g., repetitively posting a Task).
  23. Send spam, unauthorized advertising, promotions, solicitations, surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, or similar materials.
  24. Imply that Teleport endorses, verifies, approves, sponsors, employs, or represents you, your statements, your content, your Task, or your services without Teleport's prior written permission.
  25. Record any Task or interaction with a user or Teleport without all required consents.
  26. Manipulate ratings, reviews, feedback, or completion evidence, including through false, retaliatory, paid, coerced, incentivized, or self-dealing submissions.
  27. Submit Platform content, User Content, task postings, messages, screenshots, code, data, or other Platform materials into external AI tools, large language models, or third-party systems unless expressly authorized by Teleport and permitted by applicable law.

2. Spot It, cameras, and images

Spot It and camera features look at spaces, never at people. You may not:

  1. Use Spot It, a connected camera, a Task, or a rule to monitor, identify, track, profile, or evaluate any person, including their identity, presence, attendance, movements, speed, productivity, or behavior, or to find out who caused a condition.
  2. Submit images or connect cameras in order to watch people, or point a connected camera at places where people expect privacy, such as restrooms, changing rooms, or homes you don't control.
  3. Connect a camera, or submit a camera's snapshot address, that you don't own or aren't authorized to use, or connect one without the notice, signage, staff information, or consent required where it is located.
  4. Submit images you don't have the right to share, or images whose main subject is a person, a document, a screen, or a minor.
  5. Use a camera connection, snapshot address, or upload to probe, attack, or reach systems Teleport isn't meant to reach.
  6. Use Spot It detections as a safety, health, fire, or building-code inspection, or as evidence of what a person did.

3. Task and user conduct rules

In addition to the prohibited uses above:

  • Requesters must describe Tasks accurately, clearly, and completely, including relevant safety precautions, requirements, and instructions.
  • Requesters must ensure that each Task is lawful and can reasonably be completed safely.
  • Requesters must not ask, require, or encourage performers to accept payment or compensation through any off-platform arrangement.
  • Performers must only accept Tasks they can complete safely, competently, lawfully, professionally, and ethically.
  • Performers must perform accepted Tasks in accordance with the applicable Task requirements and instructions.
  • Performers must take evidence where, when, and how the Task asks, and only of what the Task asks for.
  • Performers must respect people and property, avoid harm, and return any tools, equipment, keys, property, or other items provided for a Task.
  • Users must keep Task communications, scoping, completion confirmation, and payments on the Platform unless Teleport expressly permits otherwise.
  • Users must report suspicious Tasks, profiles, messages, payment requests, or other activity using the Platform's reporting tools or other channels made available by Teleport, including support@teleport.eco.
  • Users are responsible for activity under their Accounts, API keys, AI agents, bots, robots, devices, automated systems, employees, representatives, helpers, and other persons or systems acting on their behalf.

4. Monitoring and enforcement

Teleport reserves the right, but has no obligation, to investigate suspected violations of this AUP or misuse of the Platform. In connection with an investigation, Teleport may review, preserve, or disclose relevant information consistent with applicable law.

Teleport may report suspected illegal, fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, or unauthorized activity to law enforcement, regulators, payment processors, verification providers, hosting providers, security providers, or other appropriate third parties. Teleport may also cooperate with such third parties in investigating or prosecuting misconduct.

5. Consequences of violation

If Teleport determines, in its discretion, that you have violated this AUP, Teleport may take any action it deems appropriate, including:

  • removing, disabling, modifying, blocking, or preserving content, Tasks, communications, or other Platform activity;
  • suspending, limiting, deactivating, or terminating your Account or access to the Platform;
  • revoking or disabling API keys, MCP server access, camera connections, verification status, or other Platform features;
  • canceling Tasks or restricting future Task activity;
  • rejecting evidence, declining to issue a Proof of Physical Work, or marking an issued proof as disputed or invalidated where the Platform allows;
  • holding, delaying, reversing, or withholding payments where permitted by applicable law and Teleport policies;
  • permanently banning users or Accounts associated with the violation;
  • referring suspected misconduct to law enforcement or other appropriate third parties; and
  • pursuing any other remedy available under the Terms, this AUP, Teleport policies, or applicable law.

Teleport may take action even if the violation was unintentional or committed without your authorization through your Account, API keys, AI agent, bot, robot, device, automated system, employee, representative, helper, or other person or system acting on your behalf. Teleport's failure to act in one instance does not waive its right to act in any other instance.

6. Updates

Teleport may update this AUP from time to time by posting or otherwise making an updated version available. Continued use of the Platform after an updated AUP is posted or made available constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
