Seven draws. Each one checked before it's paid.
A house gets paid for the way it gets built: one stage at a time. Each stage is a draw, and each draw is a question the lender has to answer. Is the work really there?
- Who asks
- The lender's draw system, under a mandate. It posts a task the moment a draw request arrives.
- Who does it
- The builder sends guided photos. Above a threshold, a local person with no stake in the builder captures the site, unannounced.
- Evidence
- Live capture through Teleport: photos, GPS and trusted time. Nothing from the camera roll.
- Who pays
- The lender: $75 per verified draw. The independent capturer gets $35 on accept. Example figures.
- The money
- The $48,000 draw stays with the lender. Teleport never holds it. It sends the decision.
- You get
- A decision your system can release money on, and a proof that says what was checked and what wasn't.
The lender shouldn't release $48,000 on a photo the builder chose.
The builder still sends photos, and small draws can pay on those alone. Above that, someone with no stake in the builder stands on the sidewalk and looks.

Lot 7, Quarry Lane is a fictional site. Prices are illustrative.
The bigger the draw, the higher the bar.
Seven draws, one house. Each stage is checked with evidence in proportion to the money it releases, and the final draw always gets the most.
| Draw amount | Evidence required | Assurance |
|---|---|---|
| Under $25,000 | The builder's photos, if every check passes | Standard, labelled “submitted evidence” |
| $25,000 – $150,000 | The builder's photos, plus an independent Teleport capture | Verified |
| Over $150,000, or the final draw | An independent capture, a licensed inspector and a person reviewing | High assurance |
Thresholds are the lender's, set in its mandate. These are examples.
From draw request to release, in six steps.
The builder asks, the lender decides. Teleport sits in between and finds out whether the stage is actually there.
- 01
Draw request
Draw 3 of 7: framing complete, $48,000. The lender's system posts a verification task.
- 02
Set the bar
The amount decides the evidence: photos alone, an independent visit, or a licensed inspector too.
- 03
Builder's photos
A guided checklist through a Teleport link. Every wall, the roof structure, the stair openings. Live, not from the camera roll.
- 04
Independent visit
Above $25,000, or if the photos are thin: someone nearby captures the site from the street. Unannounced.
- 05
Decide
Rules check the lot, the time and the progress since draw 2. One question goes to a model. Big draws get a person too.
- 06
Release
Teleport sends the decision and the proof. The lender's own system releases the draw.
Five rules, one question, and what none of them prove.
Each check says what it proves and what it doesn't. Only one asks a model: does this look like the framing on the plans? A versioned policy, not the model, makes the decision.
| Check | Proves | Doesn't prove | By | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| On the right lot | Captured inside the parcel boundary, matched to the address and the street view. | — | Rule | Passed |
| Fresh | Captured within 72 hours of the draw request, by trusted device time. | — | Rule | Passed |
| Not reused | No photo matches an earlier capture of this project, or of any other. | — | Rule | Passed |
| New since draw 2 | The site has moved on from the last accepted draw. The same evidence can't pay twice. | Whether the work was worth the money. | Rule | Passed |
| Permit sign-off | The city's framing inspection is on record, and it passed. | The city inspector's own judgement. | Rule | Passed |
| Framing in place | Exterior walls framed on every side and trusses set, as drawn on sheet A-2. | That it's to code, structurally sound, or built with the specified materials. | Model | Passed |
Photos weak or a check unsure? The lender sees “needs review” with a reason, and an independent visit goes out. Not silence, and not a quiet pass.
§ 05 · Scope and site safety
Visibly in place. Not certified to code.
A Teleport proof says the framing is up. It doesn't say the framing is right. That line goes in the proof, on the proof page and in the contract. And nobody walks onto a live site to find out: capture is from the street unless the builder says otherwise.
- Verified
- Framing visibly in place, per sheet A-2
- Not verified
- Code compliance, soundness, materials
- Access
- Public way and fence line only
- Inside
- Builder's OK, an escort, hard hat and hi-vis
- Hours
- Site hours, in daylight
- Funds
- Held and released by the lender
Its hash goes into the proof, and the proof page shows it word for word.
What needs care.
Real money moves on these proofs, just not through Teleport. That raises the stakes on every one.
Say what was proven
If a lender reads “framing accepted” as “framing is sound” and the house has defects, Teleport gets the blame. Every proof states its scope, word for word, and so does the contract.
Nobody wanders onto a live site
By default, capture happens from the street or the fence line. Going inside needs the builder's permission, an escort and protective gear, recorded before anyone is matched.
Builders who fake it
Another house, an old photo, a staged site. Geofence and street-view matching, progress across draws, unannounced visits and duplicate checks make each one hard.
Licensed inspectors stay
Some loan programs require named, qualified inspectors. Teleport adds to licensed inspection at the top tier, it doesn't replace it. The lender's mandate says which draws need one.
Slow costs the builder
A held draw holds up payroll and subcontractors. The target is a decision within 24 hours, and “needs review” stays rare and fast.
The money stays put
The draw is the lender's to release. Teleport never holds, moves or touches it. It sends a signed decision the lender's own system acts on.
A decision the lender can release money on.
The lender's system doesn't need to trust Teleport's word. It gets a signed decision and a proof anyone can check: what was asked, how it was checked, and the scope of the answer.
Dollars pay the capturer. The draw itself never touches Teleport. Nobody needs $PORT to post a draw check or get paid for one.

- Verification scope
- A required statement of what an accepted proof asserts and what it doesn't, hashed into the proof and shown on its page. Essential once outside money depends on one.
- Progress across a workflow
- A standard way to say “this task's state must go beyond task X's”, so a series of draws can't be paid twice with the same evidence.
- Site safety
- An addition to site consent: boundary only, escorted or free access, required protective gear, hours. Checked before anyone is matched.
- Outcome webhooks
- A signed “task accepted” event, with the claim and its assurance, that a lender, insurer or escrow agent can safely release its own funds on.
- Licensed capabilities
- Capabilities backed by a checked licence (issuer, number, expiry), not self-declared. Needed for inspectors, electricians and similar trades.
Example economics: $75 to the lender per verified draw; $35 of it to the independent capturer, paid on accept. The rest covers verification, review and the proof. The draw amount is metadata only. Developer docs
